ACC Morning Linkfest 12/28 with Game Sim Predictions

The ACC went split their bowl games yesterday (or did they).  Maryland lost to Marshall and Syracuse defeated Minnesota yesterday in bowl action.  Today, UNC plays Cincinnati and Miami takes on Louisville in ACC bowl action.  On the hardcourt, we are now a week away from conference play beginning and several ACC teams are looking at their last chance for resume bolstering non-conference win.

Last night, UNC did enough to get by Northern Kentucky 75-60.   From all reports, the Heels played down to their opponent once again, but a lineup change in the second half may have done enough to spark a fire and lead to the win.  Interesting enough, PJ Hairston was no longer on the bench and Roy's postgame comments indicate he likely won't be ever again.

Today, there are several big non-conference matchups for ACC teams.  Syracuse takes on Villanova, Wake Forest plays Xavier in the Skip Prosser Classic, Boston College plays VCU, and NC State hosts Missouri.  Duke and Virginia Tech are also in action against lesser opponents.
