Saturday was a full day of college basketball and featured several quality matchups for ACC teams.
Virginia picked up solid win over Villanova where Anthony Gill led the way with 22 points on 8-9 shooting. Gill's day was only outdone by Brice Johnson who finished with 27 points and 9 boards on 11-12 shooting in UNC's 89-76 win over UCLA. Duke dropped a game to Utah in overtime where Utah's Jakob Poeltl took advantage of a Duke team that was missing Amile Jefferson. Notre Dame continues to be a tough team to figure out, as the Irish dropped the Crossroads Classic. Demetrius Jackson struggled in the loss, making just 4-17 shots on the day.
