The defensive players were in the post practice spotlight on the fourth day of training camp. Much of their responses to questions is in line with what we've heard previously. They think the new defensive staff is making a huge difference. the attention to detail, fundamentals and communication is all there. In short there is a firm belief that the defense can make huge strides but even then Rome wasn't built in a day.

Fedora notes that the scheme isn't nearly as important as players hitting their assignments on the field. In that respect the improvement of the defense may come down to less of the change from 4-2-5 to 4-3 and more the defensive coaches teaching and players executing.
