The No. 22 North Carolina Tar Heels and the No. 14 Virginia Cavaliers played another classic in Charlottesville, with the Heels coming away with an 85-80 win. Caleb Wilson once again led Carolina in scoring with 20 points on 8-12 shooting to go along with 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Jarin Stevenson had his best game as a Tar Heel and made huge 2nd-half plays as he scored all 17 of his points after the break, and on multiple occasions broke a tie or gave the Heels the lead late. Seth Trimble added 16 points on 5-6 shooting, Luke Bogavac scored 14 on 3-5 shooting from three-point range, and Derek Dixon scored 11 points in the win. Thijs De Ridder led the Cavs with 20 points in a losing effort.
