For the 2nd year in a row, the Pitt Panthers got late-game heroics to down the Ohio State Buckeyes, this time by a score of 67-66. Damarco Minor provided the heroics for the Panthers this time with a huge buzzer-beating three-pointer that gave Pitt the win. Minor was magnificent throughout the game and finished among a trio of Panthers who scored 18 points. Barry Dunning Jr. scored 18 as did Cameron Corhen. Omari Witherspoon chipped in 11 points for Jeff Capel's squad in the win.
