The start time of the ACC showdown at the Carrier Dome has been moved from 3 to 7 p.m.
The start time of today's Atlantic Coast Conference showdown between our No. 1-ranked Syracuse Orange and visiting N.C. State Wolfpack has been moved from 3 to 7 p.m., according to a release by the league. Gates at the Carrier Dome will open at 5 p.m.
The reason for the move is because the Wolfpack are having some travel issues getting to the Syracuse area, as snow continues to cause end-of-world hysteria in the Carolinas. A report by Syracuse.com's Mike Waters states N.C. State charter plane was suppose to leave sometime Friday night, however, never got the chance.
An estimated 30,000 fans are expected to watch the game at the Carrier Dome, so if you're one of them plan accordingly (but we all know you're not softnosed Southerners). As for the TV viewers, locally it looks like nothing is changing (WSTQ is your channel to view the game), meanwhile, Cuse.com is updating the list of other affiliates on their site.
