Look, I didn't watch the Syracuse Orange's first Canadian exhibition game, an 80-40 drubbing of the McGill Redmen. I have my limits. So let's see what the people who did see it have to say.

First things first...how is C.J. Fair? The senior tweaked his ankle, didn't play in the second half and had an ice pack firmly attached to the leg the whole time. Turns out...not that bad.

"I'll be all right," Fair said. "If not tomorrow, I'll definitely play the following game. I gotta see how I feel in the morning."

"Offensively we got out of our rhythm a little bit when C.J. didn't play," Boeheim said. "We scored 47 points with him and we scored 33 without him. So obviously, he's such a key guy for us and he showed that tonight."

Jerami Grant seems to have put his bout with mono behind him. The sophomore led the Orange with 17 points. Fair added 13 while Tyler Ennis scored 11 and Trevor Cooney knocked down two three-pointers en route to ten points.

As for Ennis, he received the highest praise a freshman point guard can recieve from Jim Boeheim. The faint kind:

"I thought Tyler did a really good job of what he needs to do for us," SU coach Jim Boeheim said.

Everyone else did fine, I guess. I don't know, I find it too hard to dig deep into a game like this (Box score).

One note, apparently the gym was extremely hot, leading to Donna Ditota describing it as "steamy Love Competition Hall." Rawr.

Up next, something called Bishops University, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET
