In one of the most highly anticipated ACC games of the season, the #16 SMU Mustangs will hit the road to face the #23 Louisville Cardinals. Both teams are expected to be two of the three top contenders to play in the ACC Championship game. It will be the fifth all-time meeting of the two programs, but the first time they are meeting as conference foes. Both teams are known for their offenses, with Jeff Brohm coaching Louisville and Rhett Lashlee coaching SMU. While Lincoln Kienholz is in his first season with Louisville and Kevin Jennings is in his fifth season with SMU, both quarterbacks have been impressive thus far. Jennings has thrown for 787 yards and 8 touchdowns, while Kienholz has 750 total yards and is responsible for 7 touchdowns.
