The full seed list can be found here. UNC is the #13 overall seed which is also the strongest #4 seed. In that respect UNC is properly placed with Wisconsin which is the #4 overall and weakest #1. Regarding UNC's first opponent, Harvard, the Crimson are #52 which is the seed the Tar Heels should face according to the seed list. The #5 seed Arkansas is #18 overall or two spots above the seed UNC should face if the NCAA didn't adjust it to adhere to the various rules.

UNC has the fourth best offensive efficiency in the regional behind Wisconsin(#1 nationally), BYU and Arizona. The Tar Heels' defensive efficiency is 7th at 95.0 but there is a group of four teams just ahead of UNC with a DE between 94.3 and 94.7. UNC's DE took a huge hit after playing Notre Dame. UNC dropped from 29th to 45th after the Irish posted a 130.9 on UNC Saturday night.

It's no surprise UNC has the best tempo in the region though they are actually tied with Arkansas averaging 70 possessions per game. Should UNC meet the Razorbacks in the Second Round, it will be an up and down game which favors UNC.
