The Miami Hurricanes are entering year two under Mario Cristobal in which the Hurricanes went 5-7 in year one. Sure, it wasn’t the best season, or the season the Hurricanes fans were expecting but in year two the expectations to be better are looming large in Coral Gables.
Miami will have their starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke back behind center after what seemed to be false rumors that he was leaving the program. The Hurricanes also have made some significant moves within the recruiting trail.
To say that things are looking up in Miami is an understatement. But when will “The U” be back? It could potentially be in 2023 as they have an overly easy schedule, especially in non-conference.
Miami 2023 season prediction:
- Miami (OH) – W
- Texas A&M – W
- Bethune-Cookman – W
- Temple – W
- Georgia Tech – W
- North Carolina – L
- Clemson – L
- Virginia – W
- NC State – W
- Florida State – L
- Louisville – L
- Boston College – W
Eight wins might not be the top-tier performance that the Hurricanes fans are wanting or expecting, but it’s better than five and they get to build off that success going into the 2024 season. My prediction is the Hurricanes go (8-4, 4-4).
