Mason Heintschel completed 25-40 passes for 256 yards with a touchdown pass to Raphael "Poppi" Williams while Justin Holmes caught 6 passes for an even 100 yards and Ja'Kyrian Turner finished with 93 yards on 16 carries in the loss. Rasheem Biles had an outstanding game leading the Panthers' defense with 16 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and a touchdown on a sack, strip scoop and score. The ECU defense benefited from 4 takeaways in the win.
