The 12th-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish opened up the 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament with a 84-80 win over the 13th-seeded Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Freshmen did a good bit of the damage on both sides as Braeden Shrewsberry scored 23 points on 8-12 shooting and Markus Burton scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half to lead the Irish while Naithan George & Baye Ndongo led the Jackets with 24 and 12 points, respectively.
