Danny Manning (Wake Forest) and Mark Gottfriend (NC State) each landed 2017 prospects for basketball on Sunday, giving them each a new guard for next season.
Chaundee Brown, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard announced his commitment to the Demon Deacons, giving Wake Foreset their second shooting guard commitment for 2017, joining Timmel Eggleston.
NC State earned a commitment from Thomas Allen, a guard from Brewster Academy and the first commitment for Wolfpack in 2017.
