The #22 Hurricanes locked up a double-bye in the ACC Tournament with a road victory over the Mustangs, 77-69. Miami tied a season-high with 11 made three-pointers. The Hurricanes also had 20 assists on 27 made field goals. Tre Donaldson led Miami with 17 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, and a steal. Malik Reneau had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ernest Udeh Jr. added 8 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks. Jaron Pierre Jr. led SMU with 27 points, going 6-11 on three-pointers and 9-18 overall. Boopie Miller added 21 points, six assists, four rebounds, and one steal.
