Duke lands a class of 2020 Power Forward.

In a somewhat crucial search for bigs in the class of 2020 the Blue Devils secured their first big man commitment of the class in 6'7 power forward Henry Coleman out of Richmond, VA. Coleman joins a class that already features Jeremy Roach, Jalen Johnson and DJ Steward. With the Blue Devils looking to build a big class they have nailed down 4 of what should be a 6 to 7 man class. Duke will most likely need to replace 7 from their current roster due to exhausted eligibility and early entry into the NBA.

In Coleman Duke gets a confident player who has put in the work physically and mentally. A coachable kid with grown man strength but a student of the game. He understands the impact of doing little things on the larger game and strives to not leave those things behind. He’s also a kid that values education and projects to be a multi-year player for the Blue Devils.

On the court he has the potential to be the leading rebounder due to his physical presence on the court and toughness. Coleman is a high motor guy with a chiseled frame who could provide minutes at multiple positions. The recruitment of Coleman became doubly important when the Blue Devils lost out on high ranking center Walker Kessler who chose the North Carolina Tar Heels this week. Duke is also recruiting Mark Williams, a good friend of Coleman at the center position.
