Next up for the Duke Blue Devils is a very good Yale Bulldogs team on a 3 game winning streak.

The Bulldogs will enter Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 4 and 2 record with their only losses coming at the hands of Vermont by 9 and a 7 point loss in double overtime to Penny Hardaway's Memphis team. Yale is no stranger to ACC level competition, securing a win against the Miami Hurricanes in the Hoophall Miami Invitational.

The Yale Bulldogs are 10th in the country in field goal percentage and they shoot 40% from beyond the arc which is good enough for 18th in the country. They are led in scoring by junior guard Miye Oni who nets 18 points a game to go along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The leading rebounder for the Bulldogs is Jordan Bruner who pulls down 6.3 boards and a team high 3l2 assists to go along with his 13 points. The Bulldogs are at the second team in a row that the Blue Devils will face that bring an older team into Cameron. Yale starts 3 juniors and 2 seniors.

Duke is coming off of a 30 point drubbing of the Hartford Hawks that saw the Devils play a young and lackluster game not really pulling away from Hartford until about the 12 minute mark of the second half. Coach K attributed his teams lack of energy to school projects and exams.

Duke is led by freshman R.J. Barrett who comes in at 23.6 points a game, 7.2 rebounds and 4 assists. The leading rebounder for the Blue Devils is freshman Zion Williams who pulls down 9 per game paired with a 20 points a game average.Freshman Tre Jones leads the team in assists with 6 per game.

The Blue Devils can ill afford to have a low energy game against the Bulldogs. This Yale team has played high level competition and with a team that relies on an older group they will be an efficient team on both ends of the floor. Duke will need to value possessions and defend at a high level. This game could very well be a close affair as Yale is a team that scores the basketball very well.
