The Blue Devils remained perfect on the season and picked up their first conference victory with a 35-7 win over Stanford. It was once again the Nate Sheppard show for Duke. Sheppard ran for 154 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, and a third touchdown on a reception. Quarterback Walker Eget completed 14 of 24 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Jeremiah Hasley caught five passes for 88 yards. For Stanford, running back Micah Ford had 76 yards on 11 carries and 34 receiving yards on four receptions.
