Adjust your December calendars accordingly.

We now know the date for the 2019 installment of the state of Kentucky’s largest unofficial holiday: The Louisville-Kentucky men’s basketball game.

The Cards and Cats will do battle on Saturday, Dec. 28, in a game that will be televised by CBS. The tip-time will be announced at a later date, but with the College Football Playoff semifinals set to kickoff at 4 p.m. on ESPN, a pre-2 p.m. tip seems like the most likely option.

Without looking it up, I believe Louisville has won 37 straight games over its in-state rival. Here’s to No. 38 in five and-a-half months.
