Merry Christmas!

Boyd

Need a little break from the Christmas festivities to catch up on a little downtime reading? How about articles from around the ACC Blogosphere?

Tomahawknation says Clemson’s team might be the right the analogy for Auburn. I have to disagree. Auburn is SEC which automatically makes them 3 touchdowns better than anyone else in college football, and at least as good as the bottom half of the NFL.

DukeSportsBlog assesses the Duke basketball team so far this season. They make some good points. This is a flawed but good team, that has a lot of potential.

TarHeelFanBlog takes their shot and trying to figure out the wildly inconsistent North Carolina Tar Heels and gives 5 thoughts on the Heels up to this point on the season. To me it comes down to one thing, free throw shooting. If the Heels can shoot in the 66-70% range they can be Elite 8 to Final 4 type team.

Clemson blog ShakintheSouthland looks at what Tajh Boyd’s legacy will at Clemson. I said Tajh Boyd’s legacy would be defined by the South Carolina game this year. It wasn’t all his fault, but he never beat the Gamecocks. For that he can never be known as Clemson’s greatest QB, but if he beats Ohio State to win the Orange to go along with 30+ wins the last 3 years, he’ll be very close to the top.

StateoftheU takes a guess at what the Miami Hurricanes football team’s depth chart will look like for next year. This is interesting to see who the Canes will feature in upcoming season, because I think this is a team on the rise.

Pittsburgh will be in the Little Ceasars Bowl on Thursday playing Bowling Green. Pitt blog Cardiac Hill has a preview of the game.
