As much as the NIT is an afterthought in mid-March when the NCAA Tournament Selection Show is airing, the NIT is envied by several teams right about now. The fact is Stanford and Miami are still playing, and very few other teams can stake that claim. Miami takes on Stanford tonight at 9 on ESPN in New York for the NIT Championship. Both teams are banged up though, and Miami in particular will have to adjust to playing without Tonye Jekiri.
