The ACC went 5-1 (a 9-5 Challenge win for the ACC) on Wednesday night with the lone loss coming to the league's top ranked team in the AP Poll. UNC lost by double-figures to Indiana, as the Heels struggled from the free throw line and inside the arc. Was it a matter of lack of toughness for the Heels? Perhaps, but the Heels definitely were roughed up early.
Elsewhere, Virginia got a scare from Ohio State but Virginia made enough plays down the stretch and the defense lived up to the hype.
Virginia Tech stole a win at Michigan, one that is absolutely a resume build. Come March, it may be the difference between the NIT and the NCAA Tournament.
Louisville picked up a good win over a Top 20 Purdue team, while Clemson held on late to be a pretty bad Nebraska team. Miami beat Rutgers by double-figures.
