On Thursday, All Things ACC learned that the Wolfpack had landed a JUCO cornerback from the state of Georgia, as Kishawn Miller, a 5-foot-10, 170 pound prospect committed to NC State.
Miller is the 14th commitment for 2018 and the second cornerback to commitment to the Wolfpack.
We reached out to Miller about his decision, as he broke down his decision.
What made NC State the place for you? What factors went into your decision?
Making sure I went to the right place was very important. I always was a part of programs where we're family and I was looking for a place who treats their players like family and have a great chance to get a great education. I felt like NC State was that place for me.
What are they recruiting you as?
They are recruiting me as a cornerback.
What other schools were recruiting you hard?
Georgia State was my only other offer.
What do you think you could provide to the Wolfpack program both on and off the field?
Leadership, someone that's going to come in hitting the ground running and continue to work my tail off to be the best teammate/ man and playing the best I could possibly be. Helping get others around me better and getting out in the community and helping out, showing my face and getting to know everyone is very important.
What is your main focus now with your commitment done?
Main focus is keeping my grades up and my season at GMC. I'm really excited now I can put my head down and work and prepare for this upcoming season.
