Last week: 8-1  Overall: 79-25

Miami vs. Pittsburgh

If you do not have a turkey day football hangover, this game should continue to wet that appetite. Miami still has a shot at the ACC title game, and a win here could go a long ways towards that goal. Pitt is bowl eligible, and with a win, could join quite a logjam of teams within a game of each other at the top of the Coastal division. Pitt will be able to put up yards on Miami's defense, especially against the run. The Panthers are really good against the pass, ranking 22nd in the nation,  which has been the strong suit of Miami lately since Duke Johnson went out. I like Pitt here in a mild upset because of these factors. Pitt 30, Miami 23

Florida State vs. Florida

Remember when this game was supposed to be huge? That was just a few weeks ago. But Florida is not going to a bowl, and just lost to FCS school Georgia Southern. Florida State can run the table heading in to the ACC title game with a win here. The Gators are still really good on defense, but their offense is...well, offensive. I think Jameis Winston will still have a pretty big day offensively, and the defense will have no troubles stopping the putrid Florida offense, and the Seminoles will roll in this one. Florida State 38, Florida 10

Duke vs. North Carolina

While Duke has been the sentimental story of the ACC, it is hard to ignore how well UNC has played of late, starting the season 1-5, and going on a five game winning streak. A lot of that has to do with Marquise Williams. He's been a good dual threat option for the Heels. I worry about Duke's ability to stop him here. You could argue that Williams is the best quarterback the Blue Devils have faced during this winning streak. I do think this will be a bit of a shootout. Duke will score some points, but I lean towards UNC because of Williams. UNC 31, Duke 27

Wake Forest vs. Vanderbilt

The past two meeting between these two have been one sided. Vandy has outscored Wake 96-28 in those two matchups. And don't be surprised if this is a one sided affair again. Wake is not going to a bowl, and Vandy is going for its eighth win of the season. Wake has done very little on offense since Michael Campanaro went out for the season, and Vandy its own wide receiver who can catch everything. Jordan Matthews is four catches away from 100 for the Commodores, and he will get that in this game. Vandy wins in a blowout. Vanderbilt 34, Wake Forest 13

Maryland vs. NC State

If you are a NC State fan, there is one reason to watch this game. You are hoping to get a win here to prevent a winless conference season. The best chance they have of doing that is the running game, but Maryland is pretty good against the run. Maryland is bowl eligible, and a win here would help with their bowl. Maryland is a much better team, especially with C.J. Brown under center. I think Brown will have a better game running the ball than throwing, and behind him and Brandon Ross, the Terps will run their way to a win. Maryland 27, NC State 19

Virginia Tech vs. Virginia

Good news Cavs fans! The season is over after this game! The bad news is that going out on a high note will not be easy. as the Hokies have won nine straight in this series. This has been the worst season the Cavs have had in over 30 years, and given how incompetent the offense is, combined with how good Virginia Tech's defense is, it smells like yet another Virginia Tech win. I don't expect the Hokies offense to do much, but I would not be surprised if the Hokies score a touchdown on defense. It will be a close, but I will pick the Hokies here. Virginia Tech 24, Virginia 14

Georgia vs. Georgia Tech

If Georgia was healthy, this would be a no brainer pick. But since just about anything wearing a Georgia Bulldogs uniform has been injured, this game has become tougher to pick. The only player you may recognize for the Bulldogs is running back Todd Gurley, and even he has missed some time this season due to injury. He is averaging 6.3 yards per carry, but hasn't had more than 20 carries since the third game of the season. I think he will here, and they will need him to. Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets will be doing the same behind the 8000 running backs they use. This will be a shootout, but I will pick the Yellow Jackets will be able to run the ball even better than the Bulldogs. Georgia Tech 37, Georgia 30

Boston College vs. Syracuse

Now that the country is starting to pay attention to Andre Williams, we will see how well he handles the spotlight. I have no concerns, as Syracuse could line up all 11 defenders on the line of scrimmage, and he could still get 200 yards rushing. Williams is just that good. What's not to like about a guy who has had half of his rushing yards over the last four games? Syracuse does need this game to become bowl eligible, and if they can control the clock with the running game, they have a shot. Boston College will win thanks to Williams. Boston College 27, Syracuse 16

Clemson vs. South Carolina

The battle for supremacy in South Carolina will be a great one. Both teams have shots at BCS bowls with a win here. The Tigers will need to rely on Tajh Boyd, and he will need to have a much better game than in previous matchups to have a shot in this game. The Gamecocks will need to continue to be effective running the ball behind Mike Davis if they want to win. I think the difference here will be the defense. I like South Carolina's more than I do Clemson's, and that will be the key to a Gamecocks victory. South Carolina 31, Clemson 28
