Virginia Tech found out today that Malik Mueller, a freshman guard from Germany, was ruled ineligible. Mueller will be able to practice with the team, but will not be able to play until the 2014-15 season.

Mueller may benefit from the year off being an international player and adjusting to life in the US. Unfortunately, the Hokies are going to be in for a long season whether Mueller is on the court or not.
