In the wake of his arrest for DWI in Chapel Hill on Sunday morning, senior RB Romar Morris has been suspended for UNC's November 15th against Pitt.

Here is the release via UNC.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - University of North Carolina tailback Romar Morris has been suspended for UNC’s next game against Pittsburgh on Nov. 15 for a violation of team rules, head coach Larry Fedora announced Monday.

“We hold our players accountable for their actions and when a player makes a poor decision, he must face the consequences,” said head coach Larry Fedora.  “I’m hopeful Romar will learn from his mistake and make better decisions in the future.”

A native of Salisbury, N.C., Morris has 44 carries for 162 yards and four touchdowns this season and 17 catches for 146 yards.

Morris started against Miami on Saturday and had 5 carries for 23 yards.
