We should know where four-star running back Khalan Laborn is committing at some point tomorrow. The 5-foot-10, 200-pounder is said to be choosing between his top three schools at this point in Florida State, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina. After receiving around 20 offers, Laborn narrowed down a top 8 that included Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina. He was originally supposed to decide in the spring, but the decision has been pushed back to now.

Laborn is considered the composite No. 2 all-purpose running back and No. 1 prospect out of Virginia this year. Scout.com calls him "a running back with good instincts and vision. Laborn has quick feet and is very elusive. He is also a very dangerous receiver and return man." Despite his potential to become a college football star, they also caution on his size needing to improve.

In his junior year at Bishop Sullivan Catholic, Laborn accumulated 2,228 rushing yards with an average of 10.8 yards per carry and 32 touchdowns. Virginia Tech is reportedly desperate to bring in the Virginia Beach resident, but Florida State, a school that has poached recruits from the Hokies in the past, is said to be the favorite at this point.

As for UNC, he previously said "I've been on campus plenty of times. I felt comfortable there. I get along with the coaches and players very well. My cousin, Marquise Williams, also told me good things about them." Apparently he was related to Marquise Williams and didn't even know it until recently. There isn't much indication his family ties will make a difference in his commitment, so landing Khalan Laborn might not be in the cards for the Tar Heels.
