The University of North Carolina football program has already picked up their fair share of talent this summer, but that doesn't mean they're done. The Tar Heels continue to stay in contention with some of the best programs college programs from the ACC and beyond. It's just a matter of time before we hear the final word from these students.

Four-star recruit Tre Shaw has recently indicated that North Carolina is among the top four schools that he is choosing from. The others include Clemson, South Carolina, and Auburn University, the last being considered 24/7 Sports' favorite to land the top 30 cornerback. With offers from 30+ colleges from around the country, Shaw would be a huge get for the Tar Heels.

The six-foot, 180-pound Georgia native seemed to be close to making a decision back in January before deciding to back off a bit and take his time choosing. Since last summer, Shaw has cut out his former top school in Ole Miss, and UNC has gained major momentum in their recruitment of him. He visited the campus for the first time this year back in February and came away impressed with the staff and program overall. He was also in attendance for UNC's annual Freak Show elite recruiting event and the experience must have stuck with him.

Shaw has been a standout talent of Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. During his junior season, he averaged 13.6 yards per carry. ESPN has him doing a 4.78 40-year dash with a 31.6 vertical jump. Shaw has family in North Carolina, but he would still be a huge out-of-state get for the Tar Heels. If UNC were to bring in Shaw for 2017, he would easily become their top player at the position. Incoming freshman Myles Wolfolk is a three-star prospect, but Robert Morgan only rate as a two-star. He would also get playing time over current three-star commit Caleb Rozar as well.
