In Winston-Salem, the Demon Deacons had a big second half to overcome a halftime deficit and defeat the Orange, 88-83. Both teams shot over 50% from the field and combined for 22 three-pointers. Wake Forest outscored Syracuse 46-20 inside the paint. Myles Colvin scored a game-high 32 points for Wake Forest and tied a career-high with seven made three-pointers. Tre'Von Spillers filled up the box score with 16 points, four assists, three rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. Syracuse's Donnie Freeman had 28 points on 9-13 shooting with five rebounds. Nate Kingz made five three-pointers and scored 20 points.
