Clemson has always represented ACC highly especially last season when there lacked star power in the league. But 2020 has seen much improvement with the ACC providing several top players 2020 as compared to SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12, and Big 12. You can access all the events of the conferences at Draftkings sportsbook and back your favorite top players and teams.

While Trevor Lawrence still maintains as the best college football player for the second season running, others have improved their stake. Watch all the college football action and check out the bonuses tailored for both new and existing players. So who are these top college football players that you can watch in action;

Trevor Lawrence

This is no surprise. The Clemson quarterback is the face of college football and is odds on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. He was the best player in 2019 and 2020 still is his year. In 2018, he was instrumental in leading Clemson to a CFP title and a 15-0 record thanks to throwing for 3,280 yards with 30 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

Last year, he threw for 3,665 yards with 36 touchdowns complemented with 563 rushing yards and nine (9) more scores. He has only lost 1 game as a starter and has been instrumental in leading his team to two back-to-back CFP championship appearances. Many see him as the undisputed No. 1 pick in the 2021 Draft.

Travis Etienne

Another Clemson player joins Trevor Lawrence as a top player in college football 2020. Travis ranks as one of the best playmakers in college football and has averaged 7.8 yards per carry and managed to score a touchdown on every 9.3 carries made. His pass-catching threat makes him one of the top and yet efficient running back and is poised to be the running mate for Lawrence.

Here are the numbers he has recorded since 2017;

  • 2017 – 107 carries, 766 yards, 13 TD
  • 2018 – 204 carries, 1658 yards, 24 TD
  • 2019 – 207 carries, 1614 yards, 19 TD

Sam Howell

North Carolina has Sam Howell to thank for the return of their relevance. Going into last season, he was tasked with oversized expectations and he all but delivered. He was able to throw for 3641 yards with 38 TD and seven (7) interceptions. He crowned his season by being named as the ACC Rookie of the Year.

If his antics are repeated this year, Tar Heels have every reason to hope for an ACC Championship game appearance. Additionally, the return of top receivers Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome point to another prolific season from the quarterback.

Marvin Wilson

While his injury cut his 2019 season short after only nine games, Marvin Wilson was poised to have a very impactful season. The Florida State defensive tackle still managed to record great numbers (44 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, four pass deflections, and 5 sacks.) The figures were enough to make him one of the top defensive linesman while heading to the 2020 season.
