With three weeks left for the regular season, fans are anxious about which teams they should wager for the upcoming playoffs. Many teams are circling the top 10, and odds are still shuffling up and down. As both East and West battle for the top ranks, we are left to wonder, will these top 10 teams last until the end of the season? We can only guess.

But enough with that. Let's review last week's power rankings of the NBA 2020-2021 season - and a sneak peek of what these teams have to offer for the upcoming playoffs.

Los Angeles Clippers

GP: 65

PTS: 114.3

W: 43

L:22

The Clippers are currently at the top of the game despite being short-handed due to Kawhi Leonard's injury. Their current wins are at 43, and 5 of those wins come against teams from the top eight in the Western Conference. The show's main star for this team is Paul George, who has been garnering an average of 31 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.7 steals over the nine games he has been playing during the season.

Despite the absences of Serge Ibaka and Patrick Beverley, the Clippers didn't see this as a chance to fall back and has been their very best, proving this when they beat the Memphis Grizzlies last week (and the two players were not present). Reggie Jackson and Terrance Mann proved to be worthy starters for the Clippers, with their combined 30 points and 12 assists last week's games.

Everything is up in the Clippers' favor, but with three weeks left, fates are still turned. Their continued losses are a sheer sign of something gradual going down. No matter, the Clippers are still on the top, and betting on them is still in good hope - I hope.

Brooklyn Nets

GP:645

PTS:118.7

W:43

L:22

It's a deal-breaking seeing James Harden suffer a setback with his recovery from a recent injury, putting the Net's regular season in a tumble. However, the Net's week ended with the return of Kevin Durant, eventually scoring 33 points within 28 minutes, winning against the Suns. This led to the Nets' improvement in the games between the league's top eight teams.

The Net’s could go for victory with their current wins and standing. They have the potential to have the greatest playoffs offense this season - if only they could guarantee a healthy team free from injuries or absences. We can only hope for the best within this team’s roster. Maybe it’s time for James Harden to return and guide the Net’s to their best.

Phoenix Suns

GP: 63

PTS:114.4

W:45

L:18

The Suns have recently experienced two consecutive losses this season since January. Despite this, they can still go on against the top five teams in the East - if they're able to beat the Knick's streak on Monday. Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Jevon Carter, who hit big 3s in the fourth quarter, proved to be a big offensive force against the Bucks and Sixers. They lost against the Celtics and Nets due to Jae Crowder being injured (and was replaced with Johnson, the same three showed their prowess then again.

However, it is why the Suns cannot defend against Brooklyn for the 2nd time, but they remain as one of the top three teams in this rank of 10. Their offense without any question, but their defense is somewhat over at the 21st rank. We can only hope they lift themselves and up their defense game before the playoffs. Let's see on Wednesday and Friday, playing against the Jazz and Clippers, who perfected their great-team-defense theory.

Philadelphia 76ers

GP:63

PTS:113.7

W:42

L:21

The Sixers were on a losing streak with Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid (Milwaukee game), and Tobias Harris being out of the games. Simmons, in particular, would be a good defense against Curry, who got 49 points last Monday.

While Philly could not continually get Embiid in possession of the ball to do the offensive, Curry could get the advantage of this and scorched the Sixers to losing four consecutive games. If Harris was there, he could have contributed to the late game and carry the team's score. With every game being a close call loss against the Suns and the Golden State, they are still a 22-8 league best in games, behind five points for the last minutes of the games.

Utah Jazz

GP:64

PTS:116.4

W:46

L:18

The Utah Jazz's glory is far less star-led compared to other teams. If an award such as a "Best Ensemble Lineup" would be in the NBA, Jazz would get it.  With the defense spearheaded by Rudy Gobert, the team rose to the second rank in terms of the said category. However, Donovan Mitchell would still need to carry the team for their fifth-ranked offense.

Denver Nuggets

GP:64

PTS:115.5

W:43

L:21

The Nuggets scored 103.6 points per 100 possessions in two games a fortnight ago, with two losses and two starter players with injuries. From Will Barton's hamstring strains to Jamal Murray's ACL tears, the team's new players, Shaquille Harrison and Austin Rivers, will be carrying for their next game.

Milwaukee Bucks

GP:64

PTS:119.3

W:40

L:24

The Bucks led the game against the Sixers a week ago, keeping the 3-pointers on the run and winning two games to be the number one seed in the East. Their next two games will be against the Nets on Sunday and Tuesday, to be held at the Fiserv Forum. If they can somehow hold the lead into the fourth quarter, they would be automatically in the mix.

New York Knicks

GP:64

PTS:107.3

W:36

L:28

With the Knicks’ defense on the high, the Hawks game on Wednesday was their biggest hit for the season. Their overwhelming synchronization and defensive energy during the plays were on full display. Nerlens Noel was the boss before the Hawks could even get to the rim.

Memphis Grizzlies

GP:63

PTS:113.3

W:32

L:31

With the Grizzlies' 3 point streak raining down for their offense, Jaren Jackson Jr was not needed anymore as he made his debut on Wednesday. His first two games took 6 of his 25- 3 point range shots contributing to the Grizzlies' 122 points.

Dallas Mavericks

GP:64

PTS:111.8

W:36

L:28

The Mavs moved up to the West's top six by having a two winning streak against the Lakers. However, they blew a 13-point lead in the first game due to Kristaps Prozingis's ankle injury. Luka Doncic then swoops in for good shooting, rendering his 5 for 15 from the 3-point range for the team.

In Summary
