The Stanford Cardinal offense came alive in the second half as they defeated the Matadors, 88-80. Stanford erupted for 55 second half points. In a game that had over sixty free throws, the Cardinal were 27-38 from the charity strip. Ebuka Okorie scored 21 of his game-high 30 points in the second half. Chisom Okpara was 11-14 from the free throw line and finished the game with 20 points. Benny Gealer hit four three-pointers and scored 13 points. Cal State Northridge's Larry Hughes II scored 26 points.
