After a protracted delay, on the first day of classes for the fall semester, Jaylen Johnson is now enrolled at Louisville.

After a protracted delay due to a number of issues with his high school coursework and paperwork, freshman forward Jaylen Johnson has enrolled at Louisville. According to Jeff Greer with the Louisville Courier-Journal, the school registrar confirmed that Johnson is now enrolled at the school. Today is the first day of classes for the fall semester. According to Greer:

Johnson's academic profile took the NCAA some time to evaluate due to a myriad of worries about his core coursework and the consolidation of his high school in Ypsilanti, Mich., with a neighboring school district. The combination of those two factors made Johnson's eligibility process a messy one. The NCAA had hoped to determine his status on Friday or over the weekend.

Obviously Johnson will be behind the other five freshmen that have been enrolled for one summer term of more. Nevertheless, his arrival might allow him to contribute later this season and will surely help at the forward spots in the future. Johnson (6'9, 210) was rated a consensus four-star forward out of high school.
