Who are the winners and losers in the ACC for week 2?
Winners
Clemson – They look like they could reach the playoffs again. The defense looks like the country’s best and they totally stuffed Auburn Saturday night. The front 4 is scary good.
Duke – This is a team to watch. Duke routed a pretty decent Northwestern team 41-17. Daniel Jones continues to get better and better at QB. With a reeling Baylor team next, Duke could be looking at a 3-0 start
Lamar Jackson – Just over 500 yards of offense for the Heisman Candidate against UNC. Jackson may actually be better than last year. Jackson vs Clemson’s defense next week. Oh that will be interesting.
Losers
Syracuse – A 30-23 loss to Middle Tennessee State? Oh how we wanted to believe in you Syracuse.
Virginia – They go down 34-17 to Indiana at home. Bronco Mendenhall is just now getting into the depths of how big this rebuilding job is at Virginia. They are years away from being decent.
North Carolina’s defense – This defense has given up over 1100 yards of offense the last 2 weeks. They are the opposite of Clemson’s defense. I’m not sure this a bowl team.
