After the North Carolina loss, Pitt will be sitting out the next few games and watching teams wrap up their conference tournaments. While the Panthers have to wait to receive an official invitation to the NCAA Tournament, the experts out there don't think there's too much to worry about on that front.

CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has the Panthers at a No. 9 seed and safely in at this point, playing No. 8 seed Texas Tech. USA Today says the same and has Pitt playing a No. 8-seeded Wisconsin.

SB Nation is a little lower on the team, but still has them in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 11 seed and avoiding the play-in game by facing No. 6 Seton Hall. ESPN's Joe Lunardi is the lowest on Pitt. He has them in, but only as one of the final four to make the cut as a No. 10 seed in a play-in game with St. Mary's.

One recent area of concern for some Pitt fans is Michigan winning against No. 10 Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament. But SB Nation still says the Wolverines are out and also still has the Panthers avoiding the play-in in their afternoon update.

Things are constantly changing so, as you can imagine, we'll be updating their standing leading up to Selection Sunday.
