Two-time NBA MVP star Giannis Antetokounmpo has officially committed his future to the Milwaukee Bucks in a long-term deal.

The 26-year-old's agent, Alex Saratsis spoke to ESPN telling them that the deal will last for five years with a $228 million price tag, including an option to opt-out in the fourth year of the contract.

Announcing to the world, Antetokounmpo wrote on his Twitter and Instagram page, saying: "This is my home, this is my city. I'm blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."

The 'Greek Freak' had an impressive campaign last season has become the third player in the NBA history to win MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season, only Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon have been able to achieve this feat, in which best online casino tabled the predictions to fans. In the past two seasons, Milwaukee Bucks have been able to finish a regular season with the best record in the league, but have ultimately failed to proceed to the NBA Finals in either time.

Back in 2019, the Bucks were able to take a 2-0 lead against Toronto Raptors in the conference finals but were unable to proceed further as they lost six games. Last season, the Bucks were unable to get past Miami Heat as they lost in five games in the semifinals in the Orlando Bubble.

In Antetokounmpo's seven years with the team, they have only been able to reach the conference finals once despite their regular-season achievements. They have not returned to the NBA Finals since 1974 with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was traded away in his sixth season with the team.

Speaking to the media, Abdul-Jabbar, who helped the Bucks secure their only title in 1971, said to ESPN: "I think [Antetokounmpo] should look into his own heart and make a decision based on what's important to him and his professional life."

Milwaukee has only been able to reach the playoffs three times in Antetokounmpo's first five campaigns with them, and they knocked out, each time, in the first round. At the end of the 2018/19 campaign, Antetokounmpo was crowned the NBA's MVP, becoming the first Bucks player since Abdul-Jabbar to take the award home while helping the team reach their first playoff series victory since 2001 when best high roller casino covered odds for that campaign.

Having secured the award for a third time before gurning 26, Giannis Antetokounmpo joined Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James as the only player to win multiple NBA MVP awards at the age of 25.
