Maryland won their first exhibition game in the Bahamas defeating Providence Storms 92-84.  Jake Layman led the Terps with 25 points while Evan Smotrycz (had to look at his name 3 times before I typed it correctly) added a double-double.

There was no TV or radio for the game, so reports are slim but Maryland's Facebook page did have this update after the game.

Last night your Maryland Men's Basketball team brought the thunder to the Summer of Thunder Tournament in the Bahamas. Jake Layman led the Terps with 25 points and Junior forward Evan Smotrycz, a transfer from Michigan, posted a double-double with 12pts and 10 rbds...

While the Terps did go on to win 92-84, Dez Wells may have shook the island with his dunks, take a look!

Here is some video courtesy Maryland's Facebook page.
