Louisville safety Gerod Holliman, the nation's leader in interceptions and the 2014 Jim Thorpe Award recipient, has declared himself eligible for the NFL Draft. Holliman is a redshirt sophomore who has two years of collegiate elgibility remaining.

Holliman, who played sparingly as a redshirt freshman in 2013, became a star in his first season with extended playing time at U of L. He set a school record for interceptions with 14, a number which also tied the FBS record set in 1968. He'll have a chance to claim the mark for himself when Louisville faces Georgia in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 30.

Best of luck to Gerod on all the pre-draft happenings, but for now, here's hoping he snags at least one more pick and helps the Cards to one last win.
