Markus Burton led the Irish with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the win. Freshman Jalen Haralson added 14 points on 4-8 shooting from the floor for Micah Shrewsberry's club. Emanuel Sharp scored 17 and Milos Uzan scored 15 to lead the Cougars in the win.

Notre Dame vs. Rutgers: The Notre Dame Fighting Irish improved to 5-2 with a 68-63 win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at the Players Era Championship. Markus Burton was electric from start to finish and scored a game-high 21 points on 9-13 shooting, including 2-4 from three-point range to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Freshman Jalen Haralson scored 15 points on 6-12 shooting while Braeden Shrewsberry added 13 points on 3-6 shooting from deep.
