SMU defeats Notre Dame 89-81

The Mustangs were clicking on all cylinders in their 89-81 victory over the Fighting Irish. SMU dished out 25 assists on 32 made field goals. Notre Dame outscored SMU in points off of turnovers with a 28-16 advantage. SMU shot 53% from the field and 46% from 3. Jaron Pierre Jr. and Boopie Miller combined for 42 points and 13 assists while Pierre Jr. grabbed 8 rebounds for the Mustangs. Corey Washington added 14 points for SMU. Jalen Haralson had 23 points with a block and a steal for the Irish.
