The Virginia Tech Hokies went on the road and earned a big win over the No. 20 Clemson Tigers, 76-66. Jailen Bedford got off to a hot start to help set the tone for Mike Young's club, scoring 16 of his 23 points in the first half. Bedford shot 8-14 from the floor, including 4-5 from three-point range in the win, while Ben Hammond added 19 points and Tobi Lawal finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Hokies. Carter Welling paced the Tigers with 19 points on 7-11 shooting with 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, and a steal in a losing effort.
