Pitt wins 4th straight in 53-34 win over NC State

The Pitt Panthers won their fourth game in a row, defeating the NC State Wolfpack, 53-34. The fourth quarter was the only quarter in which Pitt did not have multiple scoring drives. Quarterback Mason Heintschel was the star player of the game, throwing for 423 yards and three touchdowns on 28-48 passing. Wide receiver Blue Hicks had four receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Kenny Johnson caught seven passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. Ja'Kyrian Turner ran the ball 13 times for 50 yards and two touchdowns. For NC State, tight end Justin Joly caught six passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns while only playing in the first half. Quarterback CJ Bailey was 24-40 for 225 yards and three touchdowns.
