Only one more day until the ACC tournament begins, of course this time next year, we'll get 3 games on ACC tournament Wednesday.   Aren't you pumped to watch the 10 seed play the 15 seed?  Yep, we'll get the 10-15 seeds playing on Wednesday, to get to Thursday next season (and a more familiar tournament after that).  Speaking of changes with Pitt, Louisville, and Notre Dame coming to the ACC, BackingThePack.com took a look at what those teams will bring to the ACC in regards to tempo.  Hint: Read SLOWLY.

The ACC announced their individual awards on Tuesday and honestly, I can't argue any of them.  Erick Green won the ACC Player of the Year award, but still there were those on Twitter that thought it should have been Shane Larkin.  I still don't get the push for Larkin as the player of the year.  Is he a great player?  Sure.  Did he have a big impact on the ACC regular season champs? Sure.   Did he have the best season of any player in the ACC?  Nope.  It is funny though, as Larkin's dad won a MVP with similar credentials.  Barry Larkin had a good season, playing an important position, on the best team in the National League and took the MVP in 1995.  Shane's season just wasn't good enough to warrant the ACC Player of the Year this season.  Hopefully he'll be back next season and will be in the running again.

Your daily reminder: Go submit your picks in the ACC Tournament Bracket Contest.  Seriously, go now.  Winner will pick up a 12 month premium live tempo-based stats subscription on SCACCHoops.com.  That's no ads, no page refresh and a great way to enhance your college basketball experience.
