Talking to the media at the 2023-24 ACC Tipoff, Wake Forest head coach Steve Forbes was asked about what he thinks is key to the Demon Deacons making the NCAA Tournament after two straight years of barely missing out. Forbes answered by referencing the close games that Wake has been on the wrong side of recently and said that his team needs to play better defense and win the right games to give themselves a better chance of making the tournament.
