The No. 14 Virginia Cavaliers opened up a huge lead on the road against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets with three 1st-half runs of 9-0 or better. The Cavs led 59-27 at halftime and went on to a 94-68 final. Thijs De Ridder scored 13 of his 22 points before the break, and Malik Thomas scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half. The Hoos held the Yellow Jackets to 38% shooting, including 4-19 from three-point range, blocked 9 shots, and outrebounded Tech 51-34 in the win. Jaeden Mustaf led the Jackets with 18 points in the loss.
