The Hokies have won two games in a row, and they pick up their first ACC win of the season by defeating the Wolfpack, 23-21. With NC State driving for the win inside the final minutes, Virginia Tech's Christian Ellis got a key pass breakup on 4th & 1 to force a turnover on downs. Hokies running back Terion Stewart ran for 174 yards on 15 carries. Quarterback Kyron Drones threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns on 20-34 passing. For NC State, quarterback CJ Bailey completed 26 of 34 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns.
