Virginia Tech Head Coach Brent Pry and defensive lineman Kelvin Gilliam Jr. both spoke at the 2025 ACC Kickoff about how the Hokies have been trying to get mentally stronger this offseason. They mentioned how when they reflected back on the 2024 season, the need to become mentally tougher was one of the things that stood out the most, especially when looking at the close games Virginia Tech lost last season.
