Virginia Tech landed three for 2019 but now they have a future talent at point guard for 2017.
Announced by several outlets, 2017 Wabissa Bede has committed to Virginia Tech. Bede is a 6-foor-1, 180 pound prospect from Cushing Academy in Lowell, MA.
He held double-digit offers and is regarded by several national scouting websites as one of the top point guards in the nation and certainly in the state.
ESPN has him ranked as a 4-star product, while others have him ranked as a 3-star prospect.
Bede held offers from Minnesota, Butler, UMass, La Salle, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Nebrasaka, Dayton, Seton Hall, Depaul, and several others.
Bede is the second commitment for Buzz Williams and the Hokies for 2017.
