After spending the spring and summer getting to know and learn Mack Brown's new offense, the competition to be named the North Carolina starting quarterback is set to kickoff with the start of practice. Redshirt freshmen Cade Fortin and Jace Ruder, and true freshman Sam Howell will all be competing for the job to lead the Tar Heels offense.
