The No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels escaped Coral Gables with a 75-72 win over the Miami Hurricanes. RJ Davis scored a game-high 25 points while Elliot Cadeau added 19 and Harrison Ingram chipped in 13 points for Hubert Davis' club. Norchad Omier and Nijel Pack each scored 20 points to pace Jim Larranaga's team in a losing effort.
