Charleston vs. North Carolina: UNC was tested at home against Charleston, but they walked away with a 79-60 win. Charleston briefly took a 43-42 lead in the 2nd half, but the Tar Heels responded with a 17-0 run. North Carolina had a pair of freshmen shine in the win. Guard Caleb Love scored 17 points and had four assists. Forward Day'Ron Sharpe recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Armando Bacot also recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
