In the final matchup of the second round, the 5-seeded Tigers used some hot three-point shooting in the first half to carry them to a win over the 13-seeded Demon Deacons, 71-62. Clemson hit nine of their 10 total three-pointers in the first half. Clemson scored 20 points off of 12 Wake Forest turnovers. The Tigers had 10 different players score in the game. RJ Godfrey led the Tigers with 11 points and eight rebounds. Chase Thompson had nine points and three rebounds. Wake Forest's Juke Harris scored a game-high 22 points to go with four assists and two rebounds. Tre'Von Spillers had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds
